Candidates must also be able to customise and (or) create WordPress plugins, and have a keen eye for design.The selected candidate(s) will also be responsible for creating engaging and on-brand graphics using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator – for a variety of media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop functional and visually appealing mobile-friendly websites & web pages.
  • Ensure our front-end experiences adhere to modern UI/UX standards.
  • Write efficient, robust and reusable code while adhering to WordPress coding standards.
  • Work with copywriters to produce final designs.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
  • Collaboratively strategize cost effective e-tailers via ubiquitous technologies. Proactively negotiate state of the art internal or “organic” sources with process-centric growth strategies. Competently reconceptualize B2B potentialities and.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of WordPress and PHP development best practices.
  • Familiarity with content management and eCommerce solutions such as WordPress, Joomla and Magento.
  • Proven work experience as a website designer.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • MUST have a portfolio that showcases a variety of websites that you have designed.
  • Proficiency with graphic design apps such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP or JavaScript (jQuery).
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • The ability to utilize low/no-code design and development tools like Webflow, Zappier, Squarespace, Shopify, Airtable, Typeform etc. will be of an added advantage.
